Travel health is the biggest concern in this decade. According to the WHO research in 2006, the majority (410 million) of international tourist arrivals were for the purposes of leisure, recreation and holiday (51%). Business travel accounted for some 16% (131 million) and 27% (225 million) represented travel for other reasons such as visiting friends and relatives, religious purposes/pilgrimages and health treatment. For the remaining 8% of arrivals, the purpose of visit was not specified. As travel increase in this world, the travel health problems are also increase.

If you are going to make travel plan to any country then you may face several health problems at that travel spot. These problems depend on your travel spots and your immunity system. Some time travelers health become critical due to rapid change in altitude, temperature and humidity and some critical health issues comes under knowledge due to poor quality accommodation, sanitation, hygiene and medical services.

Some important points to be keep in mind before making the travel plan to any country.

Destination: you should have knowledge of the place where you are going to stay in that travelling country. Water quality, hygiene, sanitation and medical care are the biggest concert regarding the destination. These facilities should be standard and truly arranged.

Infectious Diseases: infectious diseases cannot be indentified because these are changed according to time and atmosphere of the place. Without taking any precaution of malaria, if you are going to outdoor in malaria or dengue endemic area. You may get malaria disease or dengue infection and absence of correct medicine can make its condition more critical.

Travel Medical Kit: In developing country, first aid kit is necessary because some time you will not find medical store easily. In this condition your health risk may be increase and you may come under critical condition.

These medications should be prescribed by your physician because at airport you have to show this prescription and some countries also ask the medical certificate signed by National health Administration.

Medical checkup before travel: some travelers make their tour plan without consulting doctors or health specialists and face different problems at travel spots. If you want to make your journey memorable then you should consult with your doctors or physician So that you would not face any kind of health problems.

These health checkups are necessary for women, if they are going to travel in developing countries. This checkup or consultation should start before 4 weeks of travelling date.
